Wie politisch ist die Jugend heute noch? Afghanistan-Experte Erös ist pessimistisch. Ein Besuch am Gymnasium Lappersdorf.
Lappersdorf.An einer Berliner Schule hatte Dr. Reinhard Erös, Gründer der Kinderhilfe Afghanistan, sein bislang heftigstes Aha-Erlebnis: Bei einem Vortrag, in dem er den Jugendlichen aufzeigen wollte, welche Bedeutung politische Themen für ihr Leben haben, gab es in den Reihen ratloses Getuschel als er ein Zitat mit einem Bild von Papst Franziskus an die Wand beamte. Die Schüler, so musste Erös betroffen feststellen, kennen zwar Typen wie Sänger Justin Bieber, aber nicht das Oberhaupt der Katholischen Kirche. „Das hatte ich so nicht erwartet“, sagt er heute über diesen denkwürdigen Vortrag.
