Regensburg.Die Mittelbayerische hat sich auf der ersten wichtigen Veranstaltung im neuen Jahr umgehört, was prominente Gäste der Stadt Regensburg im Jahr 2020 wünschen. Sie erhoffen sich vor allem viel von der Kommunalwahl im März 2020, nämlich wieder eine reguläre, dreiköpfige Stadtspitze und darüber hinaus eine deutliche Mehrheit im Stadtrat, die viel bewegen kann. Wenn es nach bekannten Besuchern des Neujahrsempfangs der Stadt geht, soll Regensburg innovativer werden und der Verkehr besser fließen.
