Corona BMW-Zulieferer steckt im Krisenmodus
Bei ZMT in Bruck steigen die Corona-Zahlen. Nun sollen Mammut-Schichten die Lieferungen an den Autoriesen sicherstellen.
Bruck.Es geht ums Lebenswerk. ZMT-Geschäftsführer Siegfried „Siggi“ Schmid kämpft um das, was er in fast 20 Jahren aufgebaut hat. Der 62-Jährige hat längst registriert, wie prekär die Lage in seiner Brucker Firma ist. Weil sich die Corona-Fälle in dem Betrieb über das Wochenende nahezu verdoppelt haben und immer mehr Mitarbeiter ausfallen, versucht Schmid alles, um die Produktion am Laufen zu halten. Denn er weiß: Ohne die Motorenteile von ZMT Automotive steht Autoriese BMW vor einem enormen Problem.
