Die cremeweißen Blütendolden verströmen während der Blüte einen herrlichen Duft nach Honig, Bittermandel und Vanille. Doch das Mädesüß, ob getrocknet oder frisch, ist mit seinen Blüten und Blättern auch in der Naturheilkunde bekannt – unter anderem als „pflanzliches Aspirin“.
