Die Zahl der Bio-Landwirte steigt, auch in Schwandorf. Doch nicht überall ist eine schnelle Umstellung möglich. Was hilft?
Landkreis.Berta ist Milchkuh. Sie ist die älteste Bewohnerin des Milchviehbetriebs der Familie Giedl in Schwarzach. In ihren elf Jahren hat Berta schon einiges miterlebt: Ihr Stall hat sich vergrößert, ihr Futter hat sich verändert und irgendwann durfte Berta das erste Mal mit ihren Kuh-Freundinnen auf der Wiese spielen. Das war immer schon Andreas Giedls Traum – seine Kühe auf die Weiden rund ums Haus zu lassen. Im Frühjahr 2016 war es dann soweit: Familie Giedl hat den Milchviehbetrieb auf Bio umgestellt.
